This bradoon is one our best selling Sprenger bits, 55mm rings with 14mm thick mouth piece, this bit is designed to be very ergonomic and to be partnered up with a weymouth bit. It can also be used as a snaffle on it's own.

Sprenger bit Developed by Lisa Wilcox, this bit is designed with the unique Roller in the centre of the lozenge to encourage the horse to chew, therefore salivation and relaxation into the bit. Generally used on young horses as a starting bit, but can be used on any horse.

Made from Sensogan, the new metal of Sprenger, with a 16mm thick mouth piece, 70mm Stainless rings

This unique Weymouth with its slanting mouthpiece and a smooth, rounded port is angled forward and has fine distribution of pressure on the tongue. The bit takes advantage of the exceptional sensetivity of the tongue ensuring precise rein aids. Suitable for horses that dislike tongue pressure. Brilliant for introducing a horse gently to a Weymouth bit. The slanting mouthpiece encourages the harmony bewteen the rider's hand and the horse's mouth providing a relaxed and secure contact to the Weymouth.

Standard Mouth is 16mm thick, 12mm and 14mm also available to order.

Standard lower cheeks are 7cm long, 5cm also available to order.

Made of Sensogan (code-78) or Aurigan (code-88) with Stainless Steel Sides.

Includes curb chain.

Be sure to order a bradoon, slightly large (wider) than the weymouth, normally 5 to 10mm.

The HS Weymouth is a Weymouth bit with a slight port which offers space for the tongue without squeezing the sensetive palate. The Mouthpeice curves around the tongue in a smooth bow. A good choice for horses with issues with contact.

Options: 16mm or 18mm thick mouth made from Sensogan (Code-78), or Aurigan (Code-88) with Stainless steel sides.
